Busy Weekend!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FELICITY!!!!

It was my friend Felicity's 40th Birthday party on Saturday night. It was really great. Her and 2 of her friends (all turning 40) decided to throw themselves a big bash and they went all out!  It was lots of fun....full out with a DJ and band.  Pretty impressive.  It was really cute too because Breagha loved the music.  She danced alot.  It reminded me of when I was little and I used to dance at all the family weddings.  

The party was at Felicity's house and they had the DJ and band set up in the backyard.  Lots of kids there too so perfect for the whole family.  It really reminded my of home.  :)

The band did lots of music from the 60's.  The first song they did was "Brown Eye Girl" which Darryl sings on the guitar.  So, Breagha was up dancing right away!  (Shamus was a typical boy and only interested in the toys)

The birthday girls.  They looked greatttt!!  Felicity designed her dress and then sewed it up about 1 hour.  Not bad, eh? Wish I could do that!

  We did some dancing too and just relaxed and chatted with everyone.   A great night.  Thanks for the invite Felicity and Nigel!

Then we were off to Mt Choo-tha on Sunday.  We met up with a bunch of Pandemic guys and their families.  Mike and Mireille hosted a yummy brunch.  Can't go wrong!!  Thanks guys.

I thought this pic was funny because you can see Breagha running thru the shot.  She's still a bit shy at first but she comes out of her shell quickly.

I love the kookaburra.  They are super loud, sound like a chimpanzee, and  beautiful.

The kids had a blast.  Lots of activities.

And then we ended with more birthday cake!!

We finished the weekend with dinner and Rej and Clo's!!  Always yummy!

A busy but great weekend.  

A bunch of us are planning to go camping this weekend.  And then the following week we go to the Whitsundays (the Great Barrier Reef area).  Can't wait!!!
