Hi All.
Hope everyone is having a great week and looking forward to the weekend!! Can you believe that it will be Christmas Day in 21 days!!!?!! Wow. It doesn't seem like it should be Christmas here because it's been 32 degrees this week! Very strange. But, I'm getting ready and enjoying the Christmas music in the process!! :)
I wanted to give an update on the family. Breagha has her surgery tomorrow morning. I've been trying to prepare her this week....explain what will happen, what she will need to do, can't have breakfast...all that good stuff. I'm sure it won't matter...she'll LOSE it tomorrow morning as soon as the doctor goes near her!! Total panic! Oh, she doesn't deal well with those things. But, hopefully all will go well. We'll let you know when it's all over. We've had some drama with the hospital and insurance company this week too but it's been sorted. Thanks to Purdy!
Besides B's surgery, we're all doing well. The kids are getting very excited about Christmas and already did up their letters to Santa. The daycare started doing Christmas decorations and are having a Christmas party on Monday. And then a BBQ at a park by our house the following weekend. And then we're making Christmas plans ourselves!!!
Debra and Raul are coming for Christmas (my cousin and her husband...she stood in our wedding) so I'm super excited about that!!! Can't wait. It will be so great to have someone from home with us for the holidays, and family to boot! :) I have a few things planned but we'll see how it all goes. Should be great!!
And yes, Darryl and I are still both working. For now!! heheee...not funny. My company is doing lay offs but I'll know more next week. The travel industry is having a rough go with the economy right now so I just have to wait and see.
Overall, we're all great. Looking forward to time off over Christmas. Head to the beach and relax. Love the new car!!! Especially with the heat...we don't have to walk everywhere anymore!
