Shamus showing Daddy how an 4-stroke engine works.
This was neat...the faster you pedal the more energy is created and the more appliances you power. Shamus couldn't reach the pedals, so it wasn't as much fun for him.
I'm sure if he could have gone all the way in he would have.
After checking out the Science Centre we took the kids to the Dinosaur IMAX movie. Darryl's company did the animation so it was cool to see. And Shamus is loving dinosaurs right now so it was great timing.
Saturday morning was back to downtown. Brunch with the city folk...It was great to see everyone.
Saturday afternoon was spent at the park. Shamus tried out his new baseball bat and ball. Pretty cute.
Barry bonds better look out ... Shamus did all this without the roids.
It's not all fun and games!!! Poor Shamus had to have a little time out... He looked so cute off by himself.
And Sunday morning...
Lots of fun at the beach today. Water goes up ... water comes down.
This is how a proper sand castle is built momma!
Daddy is either the jungle jim or the swing set.
So, Justine felt sorry for us and came over and took a picture of us. And I think she did a super job so this picture is for Justine!
The girls headin' down the slide. Breagha is actually starting to try and push herself down the slide now. It's pretty funny.
Shamus followed John all around the park.
We started with "Pin the Bracelet on Dora". It was so cute to watch the kids try to close their eyes and pin the bracelet at the same time. Pretty funny!
And then the tradional Bean Bag Toss. Matteo was warming up the arms...
Getting ready for a little ball game?
Time for some pizza. That's Shamus "posing" for the camera in the back. Yeap, eyes still closed!
So, that's the cake. She enjoyed it but didn't finish it...definitely not like Shamus who devoured it!
Some of the kids having cake and ice cream.
The day went very well. It was wonderful having all the kids come over. And super that Tracy and the kids could make it.
I'll post some pictures of our day with Tracy and kids...that will be for Mrs. Shirley Purdy!! Who is now on-line! And chatting on MSN I hear. Glad that you can check out the blog now Shirley!
Dad spending time with his little girl.
And big brother Shamus enjoyed his visits to the hospital. He wasn't so happy when Breagha came home to stay. He wanted her to go back. He sure loves her lots now! He's great at getting her to laugh. He can do anything and Breagha will laugh and giggle.
The big day!! Going home with Mom and Dad. It was pretty exciting! Breagha weighed about 6lbs and was 2 1/2months old.
Her first cuddle with Dad and Shamus at home.
Ah, trying to get a Christmas picture!!! That was fun! Between trying to get Shamus to sit still, trying to get Breagha to look at the camera, and not cry, and trying to get Shamus to look at the camera...lots of fun! Right Steve?!!
Breagha's first trip to Nova Scotia. At Grammie Rosie's and Grampie Sandy's for Christmas Eve. Picking out Christmas dresses was fun!
Breagha was baptized in Antigonish. Us with Father Danny.
And Breagha a few weeks ago!!!
She's come a long way. We're so happy to have you with us and we love you very much!
Happy 1st Birthday Princess!
And on Friday we got our new car! We were pretty happy about that. It's a cranberry-red colour, toyota corolla sport, and only 39,000km. No bright yellow car! We enjoyed the drive to Ottawa and got to test out the CD player...the simple pleasures!!!
